FIELD TRIP: Grocery Store
Remember, you can e-mail me with your
favorite April field trips too.
Few random notes from Stormie:
*While at the grocery store, show children a few price tags.Other field trip options for the theme of "Food and Nutrition":
*Take children to see a vegetable
garden.
*Take children
to a bakery
*Take children
to visit the kitchen of a popular restaurant. For example, make arrangements
with a local familiar pizza shop to allow children to tour the area behind the
counter to see what goes on. Of course, while there, see if you can get
some freebies. I lucked out one year and received lots of nice new round
pieces of cardboard (usually found under a delivery pizza). As you know, we preschool
teachers are never ashamed to beg for creative art supplies!
